What is the Capybara Virtual Run 2024?

The Capybara Virtual Run 2024 is Malaysia’s first capybara-themed virtual run where participants can complete a 5KM run at their own pace and location. Once the run is completed, you just need to send us the proof of your running activity, and the entitlements will be mailed to your address.

How do I participate in the virtual run?

Simply register online between 20th September and 30th November 2024, complete the 5KM run anywhere, and submit your results by 3rd December 2024.

When is the registration period?

Registration opens on 20th September 2024 and closes on 30th November 2024.

When can I run?

You can complete your 5KM run anytime during the running period, which is from 1st October to 30th November 2024.

How do I submit my run results?

You’ll need to submit your run results by 3rd December 2024. This can be done by uploading a screenshot of your run data from any app or treadmill to track your run. Ensure that the final result is measured in kilometers (KM).

Please note that the actual merchandise may slightly differ from the images shown. All images are for illustration purposes only.

When will I receive my entitlements?

Entitlements will be mailed out starting from 20th November 2024 based on your registration date, following the order of registration. The earlier you register, the sooner you'll receive your entitlements! Please ensure your postal address is correct when registering.

Who is eligible to participate?

The event is open to everyone! However, postage for entitlements is only available within Malaysia and Singapore.

Can I track my entitlements once they are shipped?

Yes, you will receive a tracking number once your items are shipped so you can monitor the delivery.

Can I change my registration details after submitting them?

Changes to your registration (such as mailing address or package selection) are allowed up until the registration deadline of 30th November 2024. After that, no changes can be made.

What fitness apps or trackers can I use to record my run?

You can use any fitness tracking app or device that records distance, such as Strava, Nike Run Club, Garmin, your smartphone’s built-in fitness app, Smart Watch or even track by using a treadmill. Ensure that the final result is measured in kilometers (KM).

What if I can’t complete the 5KM by the deadline?

Unfortunately, if you do not complete the 5KM run by 30th November 2024 and submit your results by 3rd December 2024, you won’t be eligible to receive our finisher medal.

Can I change the details I filled in during registration?

The T-shirt size cannot be changed. To change other details such as mailing address, please inform us at [email protected] or contact us at +6011 6110 8896.

Can I get a refund if I can’t participate?

Unfortunately, all registrations are final, and refunds are not available once your registration is confirmed.

Is this a competitive race?

No, the Capybara Virtual Run is a non-competitive, fun event designed for everyone to enjoy at their own pace. The main goal is to complete the distance and enjoy the experience!

Can I run the distance in multiple sessions?

Yes! You can complete the 5KM distance in one go or over several sessions—whatever works best for you.

Who is the authorized payment merchant for the Capybara Virtual Run 2024?

We have exclusively authorized Caveman Coffee as our official payment partner. All registration fees will be processed through Caveman Coffee.

How do I know my payment is secure?

Why is my payment going to Caveman Coffee?

Can I pay through another platform?

No, we only accept payments through Caveman Coffee for this website. Any payments made outside of this platform will not be recognized or authorized by us.

How will the payment appear on my bank statement?

The payment for your registration will appear under Caveman Coffee on your bank statement, as they are our official payment processor.
